Brunch "crashers"

This past weekend, Antoine and I made the 417 treck to Ottawa and attended a beautiful wedding at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club. Seeing as my parents were out of town, we gave my sister a ring to see if her and her boyfriend wanted to go for brunch and boy, were we in for a pleasant surprise! Turns out, Megan was already planning to host a brunch with a couple of her friends and their husband's (plus one baby!) and invited us to join.

As everyone filtered in, we sipped on mimosas and had fun entertaining little Freddie who was quite the charmer!

We all admired the beautiful spread Megan and Matt had prepared for us...

Everything was so well planned and delicious (from the top): Most Egg-cellent Breakfast Strata by the amazing ladies from Looneyspoons, Polish ham, Oka and goat cheese with crackers, cranberry orange scones with strawberry jam and banana bread (both our mum's recipes freshly made by Megan that morning!), grapefruit and avocado salad, and fruit salad. Just an overload of goodness.
