Those who know me well are highly aware of my obsession with carrot cake. Which is why I was so excited to find this recipe on Smitten Kitchen. Slightly more elaborate than my usual fare for pancakes and the results gone in only one morning, I think this is one of those cases where pancakes should remain pancakes, and carrot cake should remain carrot cake. Paired with breakfast was coffee made from my brand-spanking new Moka Express purchased at Quincaillerie Dante (part cooking store, part hunting shop).
The cup and saucer were purchased at Finnegan's Flea Market several years back - hopefully Antoine and I can make it to Hudson this summer seeing as we are moving in together as of mid-May! xo
