Cucumber salad, curried beef dumpling and green tea
For Antoine's mum's birthday, we ventured in to Chinatown for a restaurant that specializes purely in dumplings - Mai Xiang Yuan. There we were, six of us, ordering a plate of 15 dumplings each, plus 4 salads ($1 each!) - it was amazing. The flavours ranged from leek, shrimp and egg; curried beef; lamb and onion with the option to have them either boiled or fried. Yum!
